Chiropractic's ability to influence the information going to and from the brain through an adjustment, and through that to create less pain, more movement and better health still astounds me.

This became particularly evident completing my diplomate in Neurodevelopmental Paediatrics in Melbourne over 2 years where I learnt how important the brain is in how we develop into adults from babies, but even more importantly how we can have a positive impact on that development and help our kids.

Treating babies and kids is one of the absolute best parts of my job, and understanding the differences between how their bodies and brains are so different to adults has comprised the majority of my post graduate studies over the last 15 years.

Birth is hard on both the baby and the mother, but there is so much we can do to help.

Growing babies is hard work and there are so many changes that happen during that 40 weeks that can make a Mum feel not only excited and joyful, but also stressed confused and sore, affecting everyday life and that all important sleep.

Chiropractic can have a positive impact on not only the pain of common conditions experienced during pregnancy but we also provide listening ears, love and understanding.
